Meet Lorna – B12 LOVE Admin Assistant and Personal Assistant to Dr. Shannon, B12 LOVE’s CEO. Lorna brings to the table an impressive background with 50 years of experience in customer service, a journey that began with a remarkable 30-year tenure at AT&T, where she worked until her retirement in 2000. Lorna transitioned to Amgen in Thousand Oaks after her retirement, where she expertly managed the accounts payable for telecommunication bills. Her journey didn’t stop there; she further extended her expertise to collections departments for two other companies, including one within the respiratory field. Lorna works remotely and has spent the last five fruitful years with B12 LOVE, contributing significantly to our success and demonstrating her unparalleled commitment to customer service excellence. She is very LOVE-d by her colleagues, earning the affectionate nickname “Aunt Lorna” among team members. This title reflects not only her role as Dr. Shannon’s actual aunt, but also her ability to instill a sense of reliability and comfort within the B12 LOVE family, reinforcing her integral presence and contribution to the team’s camaraderie and success.
Why did you want to work at B12 LOVE?
“After retiring, I felt a little empty, like something was missing. Dr. Shannon and Armando gave me this opportunity to fill that need, and it’s also great working for a family. Thank you for this opportunity!”
Why do you LOVE working at B12 LOVE?
“I LOVE working at B12 LOVE because of how Dr. Shannon and Armando make all of the staff feel. They treat everyone with respect and do not show any favoritism. It’s like one big happy family that I am so proud to belong to. I have met so many talented staff who have taught me so much. Thank you, all!”
What are your hobbies outside of work?
“My hobbies include belonging to a classic car club called ‘The Rodfathers’. My boyfriend and I just completed a 5-year renovation project of our 1964 Plymouth Valiant. Last year, we won an Honorable Mention award at a car show in Solvang. We also enjoy camping in our motorhome with our two doggies, Kenzie & Sugar. We have a trip planned in April to go around the country in the South & Mid West. We will be gone for most of the month, but don’t fear! I will have my laptop with me to do Superbills and other job duties! We also have a boat that we like taking out of the Oxnard Harbor. I have yet to try out my scuba skills, but hope to this summer.”

“B12 LOVE injections and products have helped keep my endurance up and given me the energy to work around the house and garden, and keep up with all of our activities.”
What is your favorite service at B12 LOVE, and why?
“My favorite service when I’m in town is the Rock Your World IV drip. It helps give me a boost of energy. I also LOVE getting B12, B2, & MIC Ultra injections on a weekly basis. I’m not sure I could keep up the energy that I do without it.”
What is your favorite product at B12 LOVE, and why?
“Recently, Dr. Shannon suggested I start taking CoQnol 100 with my medication, so I take that on a daily basis. It just gives me peace of mind against liver damage.”

If you could plan your dream event with B12 LOVE, what would it entail?
“I would LOVE to participate in a Napa Valley wine tasting event with IV drips and injections for preparation and recovery.”

“I started college when I was in my 50s and earned a degree in Accounting when I was 58 years old. It’s never too late to learn!”
