Nutrient IV Drips are an excellent way to rehydrate and optimize your vitamin and mineral levels. Many of our clients choose IV Drips to support specific needs that supplement their lifestyles. IV Drips can be used to boost immune function during cold and flu season or before travel, to support muscle recovery and athletic performance, or detox and enhance skin health. These are just some of the many benefits you can receive from Nutrient IV Drip Therapy.
Yes! B12 LOVE takes pride in the extra care and safety we put into all of our services. Every IV Drip at B12 LOVE has been formulated by our expert Medical Team, made in sterile environments with fresh, high-quality nutrients sources from trusted U.S. compounding pharmacies, and are delivered by our highly-trained nurses, nurse practitioners, and doctors.
While this depends on several factors, most clients complete their IV Drips in about 60 minutes. Some clients spend less time getting an IV Drip, and some require more time to complete.
Most of our Nutrient IV Drips are safe to receive during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. In fact, our Founder and CEO first began administering B12 injections to pregnant patients during her time as a midwife.
However, there are a few exceptions and we recommend consulting with your doctor or a B12 LOVE Functional Medicine Practitioner before choosing an IV Drip.
For optimal benefits and results, we recommend getting a Nutrient IV Drip 1 to 2 times per month. Most of our clients enjoy the benefits of getting monthly Nutrient IV Drips and supplementing with weekly doses of Nutrient Injections for maintenance in between IVs, however, consulting with a B12 LOVE Provider will better help you determine the frequency of your treatments.
While everyone’s response to treatments will vary, clients generally feel some noticeable benefits immediately or within the 48 hours following. As a general rule, the more nutrient-depleted you are, the faster your body will use those nutrients. This also greatly depends on the type of Nutrient IV Drip you’re receiving.
Bruising at the IV site. A small bruise and/or soreness at the site are completely normal. The bruise should fade as a normal bruise would. The soreness should also subside within a few days. Inform the B12 LOVE medical staff about your personal experience during your next visit.
Pink- or orange-colored urine. You might notice a slight pink or orange tint to your urine for 1 to 2 days post-treatment. This is normal and does not mean you’re “wasting” your nutrients. The color is from red crystalline structures that naturally occur in vitamin B12.
Allergic reactions. While allergic reactions to the nutrients or equipment used are rare, they are possible. Generally, these reactions occur during or shortly after treatment, and so, are easy to recognize. B12 LOVE’s medical professionals are trained and prepared to treat adverse reactions. Always inform the staff if you have any known allergies to food, medication, or other substances before receiving treatments.
